vs. Frankenstein (1974)

The B-Raters vs. Frankenstein (1974)
Boris' fault.
I have yet to see an onscreen adaptation of Frankenstein that remains true to the book, which is lyrically beautiful but technically flawed in many ways. Actually, some speculate that Mary Shelley's husband and/or Lord Byron may have had a bit of a hand (or more) in the finished product than the byline suggests.

This one, which boasts no less than a Boris Lugosi, is sure to be the one which does, though - has to be. We have a strict policy of screening all the movies before we watch them, we're just not sure it will be in-place at the time of this writing.

I'm afraid you all are on your own with this one, as I could find no Frankenstein production between the years of 1974 and 1976 except for something called Young Frankenstein (you probably don't know about that one, either). There is the slimmest of possibilities that this could be Andy Warhol's Frankenstein, which I used to own, but I don't think it is.

This Saturday around 10:00pm Central, The B-Raters vs. Frankenstein (1974) goes LIVE on Google Hangouts/Events and YouTube!
